Music Therapy & NICU

This week we are bringing you a great article about how medical music therapy is benefitting babies in the NICU and their families at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The article speaks of the amazing work and research that Dr. Jayne Standley, board-certified music therapist and FSU College of Music professor, has done for the past 20 years with this population.

MBMT practice owner, Jen, is an FSU alumna and studied under Dr. Standley. Dr. Standley also came to VT not too long ago and shared her expertise and research with staff at UVM Medical Center. We look forward to seeing medical music therapy continue to expand here in VT as it has in Florida!
