At MBMT, we are grateful for all of the amazing new research being published showing how music can affect the brain.
In the article below, a study is shared that found music therapy to improve the “connectivity in key brain networks” for children with autism.
While the article doesn’t state it, we investigated to make sure the music therapy referred to was administrated by a qualified & credentialed music therapy program (Westmount Music Therapy in Montreal). At MBMT, we see the positive impact music can have on the individuals we serve with autism every day.
